中华五千年的历史文化孕育出了一些因重大历史事件而名留青史的城市,这些历史文化名城因其文化底蕴深厚在当时乃至现代都有着重要的影响,是现代人们了解历史的重要窗口。而今,城市现代化建设的进程不断加快,许多历史文化名城的现代化建设就面临着古迹文化保护与城市建设的冲突,如何协调二者关系,既促进城市现代化建设的发展又做好历史文化名城的古迹文化保护是当前亟待解决的问题。本文从当前我国已确定的历史文化名城古迹文化保护现状出发来对这些问题进行一些简单的探讨。
