斯里兰卡——一个以种植园经济为主的农业国家。这里雨量充沛，风景秀美。就是这样一个印度洋上的岛国，面对海啸的洗礼这里的居民却显得是那样无助。水火无情，海啸冲毁了他们的家园，吞噬了他们的同胞，也摧毁了他们美好的心愿。面对挫折，人类要联合起来，共同渡过难关。 中国慈善总会和中国红十字会在斯里兰卡、马尔代夫、印度受灾比较严重的国家投入了大量资金，进行灾后重建工作，并派出了重建人员，进行现场施工。重建的工作紧张而有序，重建的意义朴实而伟大。重建人员有的离开了年迈的父母，有的离开了新婚的妻子，总之，离开了一切一切他们曾经拥有的美好生活，从四面八方汇聚到了这里。在这里没有先进的通讯设备，没有便利的交通，没有安逸的生活，更没有来自亲人关心的话语。每一个重建人员克服了重重困难，全身心地投入工作。在他们心里，完成好国家交给的任务，援助受灾国家，取得重建的最终胜利是他们最大的心愿。我们企盼着他们胜利归来时的笑脸，期待着他们投入亲人怀抱中的那个瞬间。在那一刻，我们坚信——人定胜天! 下面的两篇文章出自中国援助斯里兰卡重建工作的一名普通重建人员，他将带我们走进斯里兰卡，去感受在那里的重建人员真实的生活。
Sri Lanka - An agricultural country dominated by plantation economy. Here abundant rainfall, beautiful scenery. It is such an island nation on the Indian Ocean, in the face of tsunami baptism here residents seem so helpless. Ruthlessly, the tsunami destroyed their homeland, engulfed their countrymen, and destroyed their good wishes. In the face of setbacks, mankind needs to unite together to weather the storm. China Charity Federation and China Red Cross Society have invested heavily in disaster-stricken countries in Sri Lanka, the Maldives and India to carry out post-disaster reconstruction and dispatched redevelopment personnel to carry out on-site construction. The reconstruction work is tense and orderly, and the significance of reconstruction is simple and great. Some of the rebuilds left their elderly parents and some left their newlywed wives. In short, they left everything that they once had and lived a beautiful life together from all directions. There is no advanced communication equipment here, no convenient transportation, no easy life, and no words of concern from relatives. Every rebuilder has overcome all difficulties and devoted himself to his work. In their hearts, it is their greatest wish to accomplish the tasks assigned by the state, assist the affected countries and obtain the ultimate victory of reconstruction. We look forward to the smiling faces they returned when they were victorious and look forward to the moment when they are in the arms of their loved ones. At that moment, we firmly believe that man is the winner! The following two articles are from an ordinary rebuilder in China’s reconstruction of Sri Lanka. He will take us into Sri Lanka and feel the real life of the rebuilt staff there.
