江门“五邑”是指广东省江门市及下辖的新会、台山、开平、恩平和鹤山五个县级市(区)。江门武术源远流长,它是南北方、海内外武术的多方融汇,在武术传承的过程中,形成了以拳、狮、龙等特色武术,部分武术项目列入国家级、省级和市级非物质文化遗产名录。江门民间尚武之风盛行,武术英才辈出,近年全民健身活动广泛,武术爱好者近三万人,武术培训机构50多家,双节棍、跆拳道、柔道等武术项目也到江门落户发展。
Jiangmen “Wuyi” refers to the five county-level cities (districts) of Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, which are under the jurisdiction of Xinhui, Taishan, Kaiping, Enping and Heshan. Jiangmen martial arts has a long history. It is a multi-functional integration of martial arts both at home and abroad. During the process of martial arts inheritance, martial arts including boxing, lion and dragon are formed. Some martial arts items are included in the national, provincial and municipal levels Material Cultural Heritage List. Popular martial arts in Jiangmen popular martial arts talents come forth in large numbers in recent years, extensive fitness activities in the nation, nearly 30,000 martial arts fans, more than 50 martial arts training institutions, nunchakus, Taekwondo, judo and other martial arts projects also settled in Jiangmen.
