王佛松教授1933年5月23日生于广东兴宁.1955年毕业于武汉大学化学系1960年获前苏联科学院高分子化学研究所(原列宁格勒,现圣彼得堡)化学科学副博士学位.回国后加入中国科学院长春应用化学研究所至今,1985～1988年担任中国科学院长春应用化学研究所所长,1988～1994年担任中国科学院副院长,1991年当选为中国科学院学部委员(院士),2002年当选为发展中国家科学院院士.
Professor Wang Fusong was born in Xingning, Guangdong province on May 23, 1933. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Wuhan University in 1955 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in chemical science from the Institute of Polymer Chemistry, former Soviet Academy of Sciences (formerly Leningrad, now St. Petersburg) in 1960. After returning home Chinese Academy of Sciences Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry So far, from 1985 to 1988 as Chinese Academy of Sciences Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, 1988-1994 served as vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1991 was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (academician), elected in 2002 For the Academy of Science in developing countries.
