斑点叉尾鮰又称沟鲶、美洲鲶等,原产于美洲。它具有适温范围广、抗病力强、食性杂、生长快、易捕捞、肉味鲜美、出肉率高等特点,是一种具有较高营养价值和经济价值的淡水名贵养殖品种。我们于2001年5～10月在宋家场水库水产良种场进行了斑点叉尾鲴苗种池塘培育试验,取得了满意的效果。1 池塘条件试验塘面积1100m2,长方形,南北向,池深2m,水深1.5m左右,池塘淤泥10～20cm,水源为水库水,注、排水方便。
