概念整合理论是认知语言学的主流学派之一,近年来,为解读诗歌、散文及小说等文学作品提供了新的角度。本文运用概念整合模型对华裔女作家谭恩美小说《喜福会》中的隐喻修辞的构建与解读认知机制进行了分析,主要研究目的是揭示该小说中的隐喻是如何帮助读者分析小说的特点,从而使读者对中国文化有了更深入的理解,对小说的主题和美学价值也有了更深入的理解。
Conceptual Blending Theory is one of the mainstream schools of cognitive linguistics. In recent years, it has provided a new perspective for the interpretation of literary works such as poetry, prose and novels. This paper uses conceptual integration model to analyze the cognitive mechanism of the metaphorical rhetoric in The Joy Luck Club of the American woman writer Amy Tan. The main research purpose is to reveal how the metaphors in the novel help readers to analyze the characteristics of the novel, So readers have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and a deeper understanding of the theme and aesthetic value of the novel.
