习语作为语言的璀璨明珠,凝结着丰富人类的经验。它们不仅可以在文学作品中看到,在日常生活中也被广泛使用。习语就像一面镜子可以反映文化,而文化又对习语有着重大的影响。不同国家有不同文化,不同语言,不同的风俗习惯和不同的表达方式。在英语习语和中国成语之间存在着文化差异。比如说,历史背景,宗教,传统风俗,居住环境等等。只有当我们掌握上面所述的种种不同,我们才能以一种合适的方式透过两种文化对习语进行翻译。
Idiom, the shining pearl of language, condenses rich human experience. They can not only be seen in literary works, but also widely used in daily life. Idioms are like mirrors that reflect culture, which in turn has a major impact on idioms. Different countries have different cultures, different languages, different customs and different ways of expression. There are cultural differences between English idioms and Chinese idioms. For example, historical background, religion, traditional customs, living environment and so on. Only when we grasp the differences described above can we translate the idioms through the two cultures in a suitable way.
