A few days ago, when the reporter visited the Beijing Municipal Health Bureau, he learned that a small hospital in Haidian District, Beijing, was closed due to lack of operating income. In recent years, with the gradual establishment and improvement of the social insurance system and the trend of people going to pharmacies with minor illnesses, hospital operations have become more difficult than they used to be. Some medical institutions that are “riding their feet” have had to apply for “out of business”. The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Health that since last year, there have been nearly ten small hospitals in Beijing that have been closed down. Ms. Dong Jinjun, who is in charge of the hospital registration work of the Municipal Health Bureau, said that since last year, there have been some small hospitals that have been shut down or converted, and some hospitals have been shut down and turned to be the future development trend because there are too many hospitals. Due to historical reasons, the layout of the hospital was irrational, and no patient “walked” to the hospital. Of course, the hospital should be closed.
