中国传统文化内在的中庸思想回避了中国水墨画在艺术创作思维上的革命性,传统水墨画在当下的艺术中虽然仍占据重要的一席,但它古法式的留白、笔触,在现代观者之中难免有些阳春白雪、曲高和寡。然而,在留学英国归来的画者邬秉豫的个展——映·象REFLECTION里,我看到了中国水墨画的多种可能,水墨画不再是拘泥于白色宣纸上的黑白渲染,而是附着于陶瓷、影像、行为等媒介上而展现出的当代艺术。邬秉豫的此次艺术创作为水墨画增添了一抹当代的气息。
