《呼啸山庄》是一个充满离奇、诡异的爱情悲剧,全文围绕着希思克利夫与凯瑟琳·思肖的爱情和他的复仇而展开。希斯克厉夫与凯瑟琳都是典型的悲剧人物,本文主要根据弗洛伊德的人格心理学、马斯洛的需要层次原理和Dollard的挫折攻击假说理论来分析《呼啸山庄》中男女主人公的悲剧,表明资本主义社会的理性限制了人们内心的动力,泯灭了熊熊燃烧的人性,这就是他们内心不安的根源所在。
“Wuthering Heights” is a bizarre, weird love tragedy, the whole text revolves around Heathcliff and Catherine? Shaw’s love and his vengeance. Both Heathcliff and Catherine are typical tragedies. This paper mainly analyzes the tragedy of the hero and heroine in Wuthering Heights based on Freud’s personality psychology, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and Dollard’s setback attack hypothesis This shows that the rationality of capitalist society limits people’s inner motivation and eliminates the burning humanity. That is why their inner worries lie.
