鞍本地区出露的鞍山群地层仅为鞍山群上部地层—茨沟组、大峪沟组、樱桃园组,鞍本地区是我省重要的铁矿基地,统称为“鞍山式”铁矿,其资源/储量占全省各类型铁矿资源/储量的96%,资源/储量之大,居全国之首位。鞍本地区鞍山式铁矿及围岩中发现钪元素,通过617件样品分析测试,测得钪元素平均品位在20克/吨左右,赋矿层位为茨沟组、大峪沟组及樱桃园组,截止目前鞍本地区累计探明铁矿储量达127.33亿吨,加上围岩量可达200亿吨以上,照此估算鞍本地区钪矿资源/储量可达40万吨以上,属特大型(不包括一些小的矿山)。如果通过地质工作,鞍山群石棚子组、通什村组含铁岩系中也含有钪元素的话,且品位达到一定数值,鞍本抚地区资源/储量将会更可观。

According to this estimation, the resources and reserves of scandium in this region may reach 400,000 tons or above, Large (not including some small mines). If through the geological work, Anshan quarry shan group, Tongshimu group of iron rock series also contain scandium elements, and the grade reached a certain value, Anshun Fu resources / reserves will be more substantial.
