Pokemon, a member of the family of POK transcriptional repressors, regulates protein-protein interactions by inhibiting ARF gene transcription, regulating the ARF-MDM2-P53 pathway and its unique BTB / POZ domain and Kruppel zinc finger structure So that cancer cells have anti-aging and apoptosis, and have the ability to regulate the activity of other oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes. Recent studies have shown that Pokemon gene is closely related to the occurrence of glioma, which provides a new research direction for the gene therapy of malignant tumors. Pokemon gene is one of the hot spots in proto-oncogene research in recent years. It plays a key role not only in gene transcription regulation and tissue cell differentiation and tumor progression evolution, but also in the specific inhibition of ARF gene and its distribution in human tissues The extensiveness of Pokemon gene has important research value. This gene is expected to serve as a new regulatory target for the gene therapy of glioma and other human malignancies.
