中国水稻品种对光温条件反应特性的研究工作,是在中国农业科学院的导领下,丁颖院长在世时直接主持指导,从1961年起,选择全国水稻代表品种157个(另有外国品种4个共161个),在崖县、广州、昆明、长沙、南京、天津、公主岭、米泉等8个试验基点及蒙自、元江两个附点,由11个单位协作进行研究,到1963年结束田间试验。于1964年3月开始整理试验成绩,编写试验报告,到1965年8月完成初稿。主持试验单位中国农业科学院水稻生态研究室于1965年11月8日至15日,在华南农学院召开审稿会议,中国农业科学院朱则民副院
