“年初找工作跑断腿,年关讨工钱愁死人”、“讨薪比找活还难”。这是记者日前采访民工时听得最多的两句话。多年来,每到年关,欠薪就成为一个定期发作的“老大难”问题,且日益成为社会稳定的一大隐患。尽管我省各级政府为帮助民工追薪做出了种种不懈的努力,也取得了一定成效,但一些地方拖欠和克扣民工工资的现象仍很严重,有的地方甚至愈演愈烈。年年讨薪的症结何在?通过走访,记者以为,欠薪事件之所以年年发生,主要有以下几方面的原因:
