Wolfgang Kaeppner,1974年出生于德国斯图加特,1996年至2001年在德国卡尔斯鲁厄艺术和媒体技术中心获得产品设计专业的硕士学位,毕业后继续在该技术中心担任客座研究员。Julie Mathias,1978年出生于法国里昂,2004年毕业于英国伦敦皇家艺术学院产品设计系。同年,Julie和Michael Cross共同创建了WOKmedia;三年后,Wolfgang以合伙人身份加入,并在伦敦和上海均设有工作室。WOKmedia的作品主要关注人的情感层面、原始记忆和人体感官等,其中包括对童年记忆的再现以及对自然、生态、环保的呼吁和渴求。
Wolfgang Kaeppner was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1974 and received a master’s degree in product design from 1996 to 2001 at the Karlsruhe Center for Arts and Media Technology in Germany. After graduation, he continues to be a visiting fellow at the Technical Center. Julie Mathias, born in Lyon, France in 1978, graduated from the Department of Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London in 2004. In the same year, Julie and Michael Cross co-founded WOKmedia; three years later, Wolfgang joined as a partner and has studios in London and Shanghai. The work of WOKmedia focuses on the emotional aspects of human beings, primitive memories and human senses, including the reproduction of childhood memories and appeals and desires for nature, ecology and environment.
