New Zealand artist, photographer Martin Hill and Phillip Jones co-authored temporary environmental sculpture is internationally acclaimed. Their work uses the materials and elements of nature to express anxiety about the present modes of development of human society, their photographic record of these sculptures and installations, and their expression of the search for a more sustainable life style. The sculptural shapes appearing in this exhibition are based on the surroundings of the filming sites. It is as if the dialogue between artists and nature also reflects the efforts of artists to persevere in trying to influence and change the world around them with meager means.
