要明确建立健全档案管理的要求,将档案工作作为引导宗教界内强素质、外树形象、改善内部管理、提升内涵式发展水平的一个重要平台。档案是各项工作活动的原始记录,是维护历史真实面貌的根本载体,是认识和把握事物发展规律的钥匙。宗教团体、宗教院校和宗教活动场所形成的涉及宗教活动的档案,是《中华人民共和国档案法》定义“档案”时明确与“政治、军事、经济、科学、技术、文化”并列的重大范畴之一,是国家档案的重要组成部分。重视和抓好宗教界档案工作,是做好宗教工作的重要内容。
