Ford Aerospace unveiled a new small mistletoe surface-to-air missile system that will have more firepower and greater survivability than its predecessor. The new Sirius missiles will be used as corps-class surface-to-air missiles. It mounts on the chassis of the new M987 Multi-Rocket Launch System (MLRS). Occupant sitting in the front of the vehicle with three anti-full-closed armored capsule. The rear of the vehicle is an unmanned launcher, which contains eight small Niwa missiles (see photo). There are eight backup bombs in the car, and its combat capability is twice as small as the current Kojuna tree. The new miniature tree currently being produced for the U.S. Army is the MIM-72G miniature tree, scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 1990. The MIM-72G miniature tree uses a rose-shaped scanning seeker (RSS). During combat, the seeker can be reprogrammed to deal with various threats based on different thermal radiation characteristics, tracer and other infrared interference.
