“祭孤”是广东省陆丰市长湖村和崎头村最兴盛的民间祭祀仪式之一,意在祭祀并震慑孤魂野鬼,保一方平安。大致程序包括建醮坛进行道教科仪普度孤魂,从义冢中请出孤魂神位到祭孤场祭祀,再请出面燃大士王和判官像到祭孤场镇压孤魂,祈求合境平安,同时请戏班上演正字戏。该文记录了祭祀和演戏的过程,与郑守治、田仲一成、流沙等专家的相关论述相比对,作者不拘泥于音乐人类学方法论,而是从业余实践出发,辨析其中涉及的音乐、戏曲、民俗、社会、人类学问题。
