文章从图书情报学教育的中心性、经费、学术地位和信息产业的冲击4个方面,分析了美国图书情报教育当前的危机。认为我国图书情报教育几乎面临同样的问题并蕴藏着危机。我们必须树立坚定的改革意识,积极面向社会大环境,面向信息社会,面向图书馆自动化,并增强科研的生命力,才有望摆脱危机,使我国图书情报学教育进入一个新的历史时期。
This article analyzes the current crisis of library and information education in the United States from four aspects: the centrality of library and information science education, funding, academic status and the impact of the information industry. Think the education of library and information in our country almost faces the same problem and contains the crisis. We must establish a firm awareness of reform, actively face the social environment, face the information society, face library automation and enhance the vitality of scientific research. Only then can we hope to get rid of the crisis and make our education of library and information science enter a new historical period.
