On March 26, 1983, as a coach for China participating in the first Menin International Youth Violin Competition, I flew to China from Beijing by using China Civil Aviation. Colleagues with the Central Conservatory of Music Wu Zuqiang (team leader, judges), violin Associate Professor Wang Zhenshan (leader and coach) and a total of eleven players. Like my students, I participated in international competition for the first time, so everything is fresh and exciting. The plane took off at night and was flying in the same direction as the sun. So nearly 20 hours of flying are almost all in the darkness. The plane finally landed at the Frankfurt airport in Germany during the day. The world famous big airport, airport facilities, an array of goods, a plane
