潮阳市劳动部门根据上级的部署,结合潮阳实际,深入调研,采取措施,积极稳妥开展理顺国有企业下岗职工劳动关系工作,取得了初步成效。1993年以来,先后有酒厂、凉果厂、布一厂、锻压厂、通用厂等5家企业进行了体制改革,通过资产兼并、减员增效、部分产权转让等形式,有1472名下岗职工与所在企业解除劳动关系,按规定一次性发给经济补偿金1617万元,使企业减轻包袱,轻装上阵,让下岗职工走上社会,自找门路,重新就业。
