英语文体分析主要研究和调查英语体裁的语言特点,着重提出每个文体有独特的表达方式。分析英语文体学可以从以下方面着手:语音、词汇选择、句型选择、修辞手法及篇章结构。本文选择前布什总统发表的公众演讲作为例子,研究其语言特点(如词汇及句型选择),旨在使英语学习者了解演说者演讲词的文体特点,并且懂得在不同的语言环境下运用不同的文体达到更好的表达效果。
English style analysis mainly studies and investigates the linguistic features of the English genre, emphasizing the unique expression of each style. Analyzing English Stylistics can be done from the following aspects: phonetics, lexical selection, sentence selection, rhetorical techniques, and discourse structure. This article chooses the public speech published by former President George W. Bush as an example to study its linguistic features (such as the choice of vocabulary and sentence patterns) so as to enable English learners to understand the stylistic features of the speaker’s speeches and to understand the differences in the use of different linguistic environments The style of writing to achieve a better expression effect.
