In the chapter on alternating currents, many students distinguish between four similar but different physical quantities such as instantaneous value, maximum value, effective value and average value. This article intends to explain this “four values” separately. 1 Instantaneous value: It reflects the magnitude and direction of the alternating current at different times. When studying the electromagnetic torque received by the coil at a certain moment, the luminous time of the light emitting diode can only use the instantaneous value.
