Gender analysis is a method for development practice and research.However,with regard to its methodology,it can be applied broadly in various sociological research.Development|oriented Gender Analysis(DOGA) is a summary of the author’s past ten years’gender|related development practice and research.This method is developed based on the methodology of development sociology and development studies,which aims to serve for the practical needs of development practices.This paper introduces the framework of gender analysis,gender analysis method and application of participatory approach in gender analysis.It is believed that DOGA can serve as a tool for working out gender equity program towards sustainable development,it can also provide an operationalized way for mainstreaming gender equity into development.
