未来20年乃至35年,将是中国旅游业发展更好更快的黄金期。今日中国,入境旅游、国内旅游、出境旅游已成“三足鼎立”的态势,外语能力已成为国家参与全球事务的战略资源。语言智能,是信息化时代国力的重要表现。我们应用型高校培养的技术技能型人才要在语言智能的激烈竞争中获取主动权甚至领跑权。发挥英语这门最大的世界语言在旅游专业教学中的杠杆作用,渗透“因能施教”的英语水平考核,更好地服务于国家和区域经济发展的需求。
The next 20 years and even 35 years will be a better and faster golden period for China’s tourism industry. In today’s situation in China, inbound tourism, domestic tourism and outbound tourism have become the “three pillars” state of affairs. Foreign language ability has become a strategic resource for the state to participate in global affairs. Language intelligence is an important manifestation of the national strength in the information age. The technology-based talents trained by our application-oriented universities should gain the initiative and even the leading right in the fierce competition of language intelligence. To exert the leverage of English as the largest world language in tourism teaching and infiltrate the English proficiency test of “being able to teach,” so as to better serve the needs of national and regional economic development.
