位于加拿大东南部的蒙特利尔,是一座整洁而幽静的城市。当北京已进入夏季时,这里好象刚刚到了春暖花开时节。蒙市属加拿大魁北克省。据说魁北克人大部分是法国移民的后裔,所以这里便形成为法语区。加拿大分英法两大语区。因此在这里举办的国际剧协第二十一届代表大会。由ITI加拿大中心的主人安排,先后在法语区蒙特利尔、英语区多伦多召开。自尊和自信6月1日,大会正式开幕。参加大会的有来自四十多个国家的四百名代表和观察员,以及当地的戏剧工作者。会上除了国际剧协主席、秘书长讲话外,魁北克省特地派人前来祝贺。开幕式是相当隆重的,但礼仪却又很简单。台上无任何布置,也无重要人物就座。主持会议的是加拿大英语区与法语区的两位主席,
Located in southeastern Canada, Montreal is a neat and secluded city. When Beijing has entered the summer, it seems to have just arrived in the spring season.
