The prize-winning essay entitled “Theory and Practice of Financial Supervision” co-sponsored by the Financial Supervision Division of the Ministry of Finance and China’s Financial Publishing House began in April 1997 with the publication of notices in the “China Finance Monthly” and ended in July 1997, With the vigorous support and active participation of the financial departments at all levels and all sectors of society, it was a complete success. A total of 414 articles were received, of which 24 were published in the 5th to 12th issue of the China Finance Monthly.
