用同位素稀释质谱法在RGA-10质谱计和析Ar仪联合系统中,分析测定了一批年青(第四纪)玄武岩样品的常规K-Ar年龄。绝大多数样品的年龄值在0.1~0.7Ma之间,只有少数几个样品的年龄值在1~2Ma之间,所测年龄都在第四纪范围内。部分样品经过重复检测获得了良好的重现性,这表明测量精度和准确度都比较高。经检测样品的大气40Ar/36Ar比值在295.5±5以内。这与当今大气Ar比值295.5无明显差别,证明样品不含过剩40Ar和36Ar,测得的年龄值是真实可信的。大多数样品的测定误差在±5%以内,仅有少数几个样品的测定误差在±5~±10%之间,这样的测试水平对年青的第四纪地质样品而言是完全可以接受的。
Isotopic Dilution Mass Spectrometry The conventional K-Ar ages of a number of young (Quaternary) basaltic samples were analyzed and determined in the RGA-10 mass spectrometer and analytical Ar system. The age of most samples ranged from 0.1 to 0.7Ma, with only a few samples aged between 1 and 2Ma. The age of the samples was in the Quaternary range. Some samples obtained good reproducibility after repeated tests, indicating that the measurement accuracy and accuracy are high. The 40Ar / 36Ar ratio of the tested sample is within 295.5 ± 5. This is not significantly different from today’s atmosphere Ar ratio of 295.5, which proves that the sample does not contain excess 40Ar and 36Ar, and the measured age is true and credible. Most samples have an error of within ± 5%, with only a few samples measuring ± 5 to ± 10%, which is perfectly acceptable for young Quaternary geological samples .
