最近几年,我们在院内和农村基点进行小麦旱栽和水栽试验,均比直播麦增产,一般增产两成以上(见表1).1977—1978年在院内移栽1.68亩“宁7317”小麦,单产达到1,093斤,显示出移栽小麦的巨大增产潜力.尽管移栽小麦还存在着苗床占地大和移栽花工多等问题,但是,由于它具有根系发达,茎秆粗壮,穗大整齐,籽粒饱满等特点,不少地方仍在生产上应用.一、移栽小麦的生育特性移栽小麦比直播麦早种20多天,冬前生长期延长了三分之一以上,因而麦苗能长出更多的分蘖、叶片和次生根,更充分地利用光能和土壤水分、养分.同时,移栽后有一段缓苗时期,群体容易控制,个体生长健壮.
