英语是世界上的通用语言,我们中国人除了要学会英语进行交际外,更重要的是了解英语国家的文化,特别是交际文化,有助于交际畅通。而英语教学的根本目的就是为了实现跨文化交际,就是为了与不同文化背景的人进行交流,所以,文化差异教育是英语教学的一项紧迫任务,而长期以来的英语教学忽视了文化的差异,这是对文化差异的敏感度不高、对英语自学性不强的具体表现。教师应培养学生了解并适应这种差异,重视培养初中生的英语文化意识。
English is a common language in the world. In addition to learning to communicate with Chinese people, it is even more important for us Chinese to understand the culture of English-speaking countries, especially the culture of communication, and to facilitate smooth communication. The fundamental purpose of English teaching is to achieve intercultural communication, that is, to communicate with people of different cultural backgrounds. Therefore, education on cultural differences is an urgent task in English teaching. For a long time, English teaching has neglected cultural differences, This is a low sensitivity to cultural differences and a poor manifestation of self-study in English. Teachers should cultivate students to understand and adapt to this difference, focusing on cultivating junior high school students in English cultural awareness.
