十五那里秋天很美1997年,我隔壁的两个美国艺术家柯蒂斯和艾瑞克一起在布鲁克林啤酒厂的空间策划了一个展览,这是一个九个艺术家的展览,叫做“OFF THE MAP”展览中,我的作品竟然和道格的作品默契如此之好,使我禁不住几分得意。我的参展作品之一是我1994年完成的属于我的“八大系列”之中的一幅,之前从未展出过,也从未离开过画室。萧疏的意境加上近乎淡淡的黑白之间,画面产生的肌理与大量的蜂蜡材料,在那样一个展览里是很特别的,它被悬挂在展览的中间的位置。
Fall Is Beautiful in the Fifteen In 1997, two American artists next door, Curtis and Eric, curated an exhibition in the space of the Brooklyn Brewery, an exhibition of nine artists called “OFF THE MAP ”exhibition, my work turned out to be so good with Doug’s work that I could not help but feel proud. One of my exhibits is one of the “Eight Series” that belongs to me that I finished in 1994, has never exhibited before, and has never left the studio. Xiao Shu’s artistic conception with almost faint black and white, the texture of the picture and the large amount of beeswax material, was so special in an exhibition that it was suspended in the middle of the exhibition.
