龙岩台地震仪记录到的地动位移通常比别的台大。或者是比震中距大致相同的台大,或者是比震中距小的台大,或者是在福建台网中龙岩台的地动位移最大,最大的可比别的台大十多倍。例如,1981年1月25日04点50分巴布延群岛(19.4N,120.7E)3.6级(ML)。莆田地震台(S—P72.9s)南北向地动位移为0.02μ,东西向为0.03μ。龙岩台(S—P77.3s)南北向地动位移为0.31μ,东西向为0.37μ。可见,龙岩台震中距略大于莆田,而地动位移比莆田台大11倍(E—W)和14倍(S—N)。不管是台湾地震,海上地震还是陆地上的地震,龙岩台记录到的地动位移都偏大。说明龙岩台对地震波振幅有放大作用。表1给出一个震例。龙岩地震台地动位移偏大问题,引起了福建地震局和龙岩地震台的重视,经过多年的

Longyan station (S-P77.3s) north-south movement of 0.31μ, east-west 0.37μ. It can be seen that the distance between the Longyan station and the epicenter is slightly larger than that of Putian, and the ground motion displacement is 11 times (E-W) and 14 times (S-N) than that of Putian National Taiwan University. Whether it is the earthquake in Taiwan, the earthquake on the sea or the earthquake on land, Longyan station recorded a large ground motion displacement. It shows that Longyan station can amplify the amplitude of seismic waves. Table 1 gives a seismic example.
