为了解决轴快流(FAF)CO2激光器的大体积和高气压所产生的等离子体放电不稳定问题,设计了相应的预电离装置。预电离装置安装在激光器放电管外,预电离电极由激光器放电管阳极和与其相距35 mm的铜环组成。预电离电路由多谐振荡器、RC充放电电路和可控硅构成,放电频率范围为10~20 k Hz,其目的是产生固定频率下尽可能高的初始电子密度,以降低激光器着火电压。实验结果表明:该预电离装置使激光器最大点火电压降低1.69 k V,小功率输出电压波动降低2.6 k V,能够满足轴快流CO2激光器的预电离要求,是提高激光器放电稳定性的一种有效方法。
In order to solve the problem of plasma discharge instability caused by large volume and high pressure of axial fast flow (FAF) CO2 laser, a corresponding pre-ionization device is designed. Pre-ionization device installed in the laser discharge tube, the pre-ionization electrode from the anode of the discharge tube and the copper ring 35 mm away from it. The pre-ionization circuit consists of a multivibrator, an RC charge-discharge circuit and a thyristor. The discharge frequency range is 10 to 20 k Hz. The purpose is to generate the highest possible initial electron density at a fixed frequency to reduce the laser firing voltage. The experimental results show that the pre-ionization device can reduce the maximum ignition voltage of the laser by 1.69 kV and reduce the fluctuation of low power output voltage by 2.6 kV, which can meet the pre-ionization requirements of the axial fast CO2 laser and is an effective way to improve the discharge stability of the laser method.
