Using a new reaction calorimeter with a constant temperature environment, a thermochemical cycle was designed at 298.2 K using 3 molL-1 HNO3 as a quantitative hot solvent. According to Hess’s law, The standard enthalpy of formation for the double salt Cd2H I O6 · 1.25H 2 O is: 1 269.525 kJ · mol -1.
