京剧电视连续剧要算一桩新生事物,近年虽有长足进步,但从没有交过“一步到位”的好运气——总是先有舞台表演的京剧“打响”,然后才能引发电视厂家的兴趣,并且要“等”到资金和(喜欢京剧的)电视专门人才都凑齐的时候,才能谈及把舞台京剧搬上银屏。事实上,越是在舞台上成功,实践中遇到的困难也就越多。全部困难都集中在一点:如何把京剧这一种“纯正形式”转换成京剧电视剧这一种“杂交形式”。显然,这是一个低层次的“讨厌”问题,它的存在极在地妨害了京剧电视连续剧作为一种独立的艺术门类的产生和发展。因此,每拍一部京剧电视连续剧之前,很难从真正的意义和境界上谈及“务虚在前”这四个字。
