Since the mid-to-late 1980s, with the advent of cable and satellite communications and the media’s liberalization, the international trend of “audio-visual” has been further strengthened. The multinational media groups such as Time Warner and Disney in the United States promote their cultural products to the world with their huge capital and advanced technologies. Influx of information and entertainment has influxed almost every corner of the globe and affected all ethnic groups and cultures of all kinds. This globalization trend has changed the media environment in many countries.
