他1983年参加工作,1988年被任命为通风区班长,曾多次被授予集团公司先进个人和省级劳动模范等荣誉称号,他就是鹤壁煤业集团九矿通风区班长赵保安。模范带头,严抓管理干了20多年煤矿,赵保安深知安全生产对煤矿企业的重要性。他每天下井盯在高瓦斯区域,掌握瓦斯涌出规律和变化情况,发现隐患总要查明原因、进行处理。在工作中,他经常告诫班里的同志:
