(September 7, 2011) Today, we are full of reverence in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Comrade Kang Keqing’s birth. My speech focuses on Comrade Kang Keqing’s glorious fighting in the new-democratic revolution and cherishes the memory of her outstanding contribution to the cause of the Chinese revolution. I. Participating in the Red Army of Workers and Peasants and Fighting for Growth in the Revolutionary Corps Comrade Kang Keqing was born in a poor fisherman in Wanan County, Jiangxi Province and became a member of the Chinese Communist Youth League in 1926.
