翻译法和交际法是中西方语言教学中普遍使用的两种方法。翻译法重语法但轻听说,交际法重听说但轻语法,二者顾此失彼。当前我国迫切需要的英语人才要既有扎实的语言能力,又有良好的交际能力。因此,大学英语教学的着眼点就是重视对学生语法和听说能力的综合培养。本文在对翻译法和交际法的优缺点进行客观分析的基础上,指出这两种教学方法相辅相成,在大学英语的具体教学中具有较强的互辅性,应有机结合。 Translation and Communication are two commonly used methods in teaching Chinese and Western languages. However, the method of translating the grammar but lightly said that the communicative method is heavy to say but the light grammar, the two take care of each other. At present, the urgent need of English talents in our country requires both solid language ability and good communicative competence. Therefore, the focus of college English teaching is to emphasize the students’ grammar and listening and speaking comprehensive training. On the basis of an objective analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of translation law and communicative law, this article points out that the two teaching methods complement each other and have strong complementarity in the specific teaching of college English, which should be combined organically.
