党的十一届三中全会以来,我国统计工作也逐步走上开放的轨道。1983年,我局建立了按季召开新闻发布会制度,向中外记者简要介绍国民经济发展情况。1984年,国家统计局明确把做好统计新闻报道工作作为一项重要的工作内容。到目前为止,国家统计局已同新华社、人民日报、中央电视台、中央人民广播电台、经济日报等80多家新闻单位建立了广泛的业务联系;统计信息发布量也由当初的几十条增加到1989年的616条,日均发稿量达到了1.7条,做到了“报纸有名,电台有声,电视有影”。我们的主要做法是:
