倒置式回声测深仪(Inverted Echo Sounder,简称IES)是专门用于精确测定黑潮流轴的,由日本东京大学海洋研究所和日油技研工业(株)研制。 倒置式回声测深仪与一般的相反,它将发射换能器置于海底上,向上发射声波,经海面反射后回到海底,记录这段往返时间,同样能知道水深。IES的整机分可成三部分,①音响部分:以一定的时间间隔发射声波脉冲,并测定脉冲从海面反射回来的往返时间;②记录装置:用晶体管记忆方式将接收换能器输出信号(脉冲传播时间)记录下来;③读出处理装置:观测结束后从海底取上记录装置,读出记录,进行演算分析。
Inverted echo sounder (IES) is designed for accurate determination of the Kuroshio flow axis, developed by the Institute of Oceanology, Tokyo University, Japan and Nippon Oil & Research Institute of Industry. Inverted echo sounder and the general opposite, it will launch transducer placed on the sea floor, up launch sound waves, reflected by the sea back to the sea, record the round-trip time, the same can know the depth. IES the whole machine can be divided into three parts, ① audio part: a certain interval of time to transmit acoustic pulse, and pulse measured from the sea reflected back and forth time; ② recording device: Transistor memory will receive the transducer output signal ( Pulse propagation time) recorded; ③ read the processing device: After the observation is taken from the sea bottom recording device, read the record, the calculation analysis.
