田间试验设计的任务是运用现代数理统计原理和方法根据试验目的、统计分析要求和供试材料并结合当地实际,在田间合理安排处理,以消除或减少土壤差异和其它偶然因素的影响,提高试验精确度,尽可能获得较多的信息,为在生产实践中运用农作物生长发育规律及其与各种环境条件的关系,提供科学依据。田间试验设计的基本原则,主要有下列三个:
