This paper discusses the inversion of horizontal cylinders and thin plates using Z_α / T_α ~ 2 and H_α / T_α ~ 2 based on the vertical and horizontal magnetic measurements under topographic undulation conditions. In this paper, the characteristics of such second order bodies, Z_α / T_α ~ 2 and H_α / T_α ~ 2, are analyzed. A general inversion method to determine the magnetic moment, the center position and the geometric parameters is proposed. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated.
