This paper summarizes the stress analysis of short cantilevered pier with rectangular top cap by three-way photoelastic freezing slice method.The boundary stress and internal stress of pier are given by experiment and the corresponding main stress trace is drawn.For improving the engineering design And cloth reinforcement provided the basis for construction.
