舞蹈训练是健美操训练中不可缺少的一部分。要使健美操运动员的身体素质、技术水平、协调能力、表现力等综合能力得到提高,就必须借助不同舞种进行全面、严格的训练。要以芭蕾舞基本功为主要手段,同时学习民间舞、现代舞等技巧,力求内容丰富多彩,以便提高健美操运动员所需要的特定形态和独特的气质。
