由于文化背景、人文环境、历史底蕴、语言表达方式诸方面不同,各民族、各国家和地区在颜色词的使用上、理解上都存在着差异。本文拟就英汉语颜色词各具特色的方面、不同表达方式和习惯用法以及用于社会所引发的不同联想作一比较分析,探究英汉语颜色词的用途用法,以期在不同的文化背景下,在英汉互译的过程中,规范英汉语颜色词的应用。
Due to the different cultural background, cultural environment, historical background and language expression, all ethnic groups, countries and regions all have different understandings on the use of color words. This article intends to make a comparative analysis of the distinctive aspects, different expressions and idioms of English and Chinese color words, as well as the different associations used in society, to explore the usage and usage of color words in English and Chinese, with a view to different cultural backgrounds, In the process of mutual translation of English and Chinese, regulate the application of color words in English and Chinese.
