在英语教学过程中,学生在学到语法“倍数”的表述时,常常遇到困难。这是因为,倍数的增减,英语和汉语的表达方式是不尽相同的。汉语对倍数增长的表示有两种不同的说法:即增加到X倍或增加了X倍,如说钢产量增加到三倍(是原产量的三倍),又可以说钢产量增加了二倍。同样:表示减少的倍数也存在这两种说法。学生感到困难的是这两种说法之间有一倍之差,前者包括了底数在内,后者不包括底数,这就要求说明时要注意词语的使用,不可弄错,本文意在对“倍数”之用法作一浅述,以供参考。
In the process of teaching English, students often encounter difficulties in learning the grammar of “multiple”.
