邓格在高硫石英脉型金矿床产于胶东东部牟平—乳山金成矿区中部北北东向金牛山断裂的次一级平行断裂中,由四条黄铁矿—石英脉组成。笔者对该矿床金矿物的特征、金的赋存状态和富集规律、及主要载金矿物—黄铁矿、黄铜矿、方铅矿、毒砂、石英等的产出特征、物理性质、化学成分及其它特征进行了叙述。金主要呈金—银固溶体系列的独立矿物产出,包括银金矿、自然金和金银矿。黄铁矿为矿石中主要金属矿物,与金关系非常密切,是主要的载金矿物,80%以上的金分配在黄铁矿中。含金石英脉与不含金石英脉中黄铁矿的微量元素含量有明显差别,以此可以区分二者。金与砷(毒砂)有明显的正相关性,在含有毒砂的矿石中几乎都能发现银金矿,所以毒砂可作为寻找此类金矿床的矿物学标志。载金脉石英为灰色透明,SiO_2含量较低,杂质含量较高,黄铁矿具有碎裂结构,热电系数为正值(P型),黄铜矿热电系数为高负值,它们为载金矿物的标型。

Almost all silver and gold deposits can be found in arsenopyrite-bearing ores, so arsenopyrite can be used as a mineralogical indicator for finding such gold deposits.
