In the study of remote sensing monitoring on the damage of Dendrolimus punctatus, the original NOAA-AVHRR images were collected and sorted according to the pest history in the monitoring area. After the preprocessing and projection transformation, the image is corrected by using the geometric rectification and resampling methods, and the data is accurately partitioned into the monitoring area on the image to meet the needs of statistical calculation and timing analysis
